ABOUT
Originally launched in 2021, Cathedral Gin 604 established itself as a locally crafted spirit inspired by the rich history and architecture of Rochester Cathedral. However, by 2024, the brand sought to refresh its visual identity to better capture attention on the shelf and reinvigorate sales.
PROJECT
Our brief was to create a new label design that retained the gin’s heritage while appealing to a contemporary audience. We developed four unique design concepts, each drawing inspiration from ever-present themes found within the Cathedral — including light and shadow, stained glass artistry, architectural geometry, and spiritual symbolism.
The resulting designs balanced modern elegance with historical reverence, offering the client a cohesive set of options that reflected the gin’s authentic story while enhancing its market presence.
